Mission Thrift is a newly created initiative by Freedom 424 and Sports Outreach. Freedom 424 reached out to me about creating their visual identity, and I was so excited! The team was phenomenal to work with, and I am very proud of our final product.

The Freedom team came to our meetings full of ideas. They gave me a lot of information and clear vision at the beginning, which really helped us through the revision process. They came prepared with a word list, target audience, overall inspiration/vibe, and mission statement. The only piece of information that was not finalized until just before delivery was the tagline – which you'll notice on the digital drafts.
During the process, I remember talking about the icon with my clients a lot. They really wanted to try to incorporate a button and a globe in a way that wasn't cheesy or predictable. As we were talking about other location symbols, I brought up the concept of a map pin marker. Thus, our final icon with a button within a pin marker was created.
